The ENRICHES Collaborative is working in close collaboration with local healthcare and community partners to build capacity across the system to identify caregivers aged 55+ who are experiencing social isolation and are in need of support in order to engage and connect them to relevant services.

enriches workshop

In this 1.5 hr session you will learn about how to identify isolation in caregivers and learn about the ENRICHES collaborative and the different services offered.

Include, Screen, Educate, Extra Help, Understand, is a workshop for health care professionals and volunteers to build capacity to identify, assess and support isolated caregivers living in the community. The 2.5 hour workshop uses simulated patients.

A 2-day workshop that certifies individuals to deliver the 8-week CBT-based program Living Life to the Full. Please note this is a paid training that happens once
per year.

Is a 1-hour workshop presented to staff and volunteers in community settings, and is intended to provide a background surrounding Living Life to the Full (LLTTF) to allow organizations to feel comfortable identifying and referring caregivers to the
LLTTF program.

the problem solving technique

The PST workshop builds capacity to identify and find solutions for specific caregiving challenges faced by caregivers at home. Health care professionals learn how to expand and enhance caregivers’ problem solving skills (and their own). The 7 hour workshop uses simulated patients.

dementia care training programs

Alzheimer Society of Toronto offers a variety of educational online and in person sessions about dementia for professionals and volunteers as follows:
1. DCTP covers general awareness of the disease and how it impacts care.
2. U-First and P.I.E.C.E.S. certification included.
3. Behavioral Supports Training Program (BSTP) aims to further develop and enhance the skills of frontline staff in caring for people with responsive behaviours related to dementia (fees associated with program)
